Vintage Redfield Scopes

Vintage Redfield scopes were one of the leading brands during their time. Meade came into the picture in 2008 and started manufacturing four Redfield rifle scope models in Georgia. Each scope is developed for shooters of all levels especially for those on a tight budget.

John Hill Redfield established the Redfield Gun Sight Company in 1909. He created special devices for hunters and shooters alike. Providing accuracy and impeccable sighting options are the company’s main goal for their rifle scopes. Unfortunately, after years of being in the business, the company eventually closed. They left the world of rifle scopes with a legacy and gave the future scope manufacturers something to look up to.

It was during 2008 that Leupold and Stevens Inc. decided to obtain Redfield Rifle Scope’s brand name along with the rest of the intellectual design property of the company. Even though Redfield has long been gone, their products are still for sale and many patrons still choose them over other brands. But since the Redfield Company is already closed, their products don’t include any kind of warranty anymore. So if you really want to purchase one, it’s a risk you’ll have to take.
